Kurita to Start Operation of Local Company for Water Treatment Chemical Sales in Mexico

Kurita Water Industries Ltd. (Head office: Nakano-ku, Tokyo; President: Hirohiko Ejiri; hereinafter “Kurita”) established KURITA WATER INDUSTRIES MEXICO, S. DE R.L. DE C.V. (hereinafter “KWMX”), which is a local company engaged in the sales of water treatment chemicals in the United Mexican States (hereinafter “Mexico”) and will start its operations this May in local time.

In Mexico, there is substantial demand for conventional water treatment solutions. In addition, foreign companies and larger bases are expanding into their markets in recent years. Therefore, the requirements for water treatment, including water conservation in response to shortages, have become increasingly diverse and advanced.

In line with these movements, the Kurita Group has strengthened its business in North and Central America through strategic local partnerships. At this time, we established KWMX to deliver solutions more quickly that address our customers' water and environmental challenges in Mexico. By enhancing customer intimacy through KWMX, we aim to develop a solid business foundation across Central America and further expand our business in these markets.
